Gooramadda State Forest (Police Paddocks) camping area
Campsite
The Police Paddocks are so named because police horses used to have a rest in the vicinity in the late 19th century. Nowadays it’s campers who put themselves out to pasture here to take a break from heavy activity. This camping area lies only 10 km north-east of Rutherglen, so stocking up on drinks won’t be a problem.
