Running Creek camping reserve
Campsite
Peppermint, blue gum and stringybark trees intermingle in this nicely forested area to the north-east of Jamieson. One appealing characteristic of the campsites here is that they lie beside the Howqua River, but watch out for quickly rising water levels when thunderstorms hit the catchment upstream. Look for signposted access about 10 km down the Howqua River Rd from the Mansfield–Jamieson Rd junction.
