This lovely camping area is west of the town of Granya, down Webbs La. Take the short walk from here to the seasonal Granya Falls, which passes by a Scout hut built in the 1930s. A tad more challenging is the 6 km Georges Walking Track, which leads from Cottontree Creek up to the summit of Mt Granya. While you’re up there, take the Lyrebird Loop Nature Trail, where you’ll more than likely hear the bird's distinctive call.

This campsite is located in Mount Granya State Park

Rising up beside Lake Hume are the steep slopes of Mt Granya, the summit of which affords great views of faraway mountain ranges. Bushwalkers wend their way up and down the park, as do many a mountain bike and 4WD. Follow the Murray Valley Hwy east of Tallangatta and turn north on Murray River Rd.
