This campground is near its namesake creek – from the Murray Valley Hwy, head north on Firebrace Track, continue along Mt Lawson Rd, then turn west on Koetong Creek Track. Back near the highway is a historic railway trestle bridge that was built almost 100 years ago; today, it’s a good place for a picnic. To the north is the summit of Mt Lawson, where a nature trail enhances the fantastic lookouts.

This campsite is located in Mount Lawson State Park

The impressive bluffs of Mt Lawson rear up near the Murray River some 70 km east of Wodonga. The mountain’s summit provides a great viewpoint from which to count off the region’s other peaks. Koetong Creek is the highlight of the park as far as anglers are concerned. You can access the area from Murray River Rd in the north or Murray Valley Hwy from the south.
