Stringybark Creek camping area
Campsite
This camping area is in the lovely Toombullup Ranges, about 30 km south of Tatong and reached via the Tatong–Tolmie Rd. It’s adjacent to a reserve centred on the spot beside Stringybark Creek where the Kelly Gang shot and killed 2 constables, dooming themselves in the process. Note: logging trucks are regular users of the Tatong–Tolmie Rd, so drive carefully along this thoroughfare.
