This is one of many camping reserves in the upper Goulburn River area. It’s only 4 km south of Jamieson, off the Mansfield–Woods Point Rd, which is great for history buffs who want to check out the township’s heritage-listed courthouse and get info on the disused goldmines in the region. Its proximity to town, however, may see its dozen or so campsites snapped up quickly during holiday periods.
