The Wenhams campground is at the Glenrowan (southern) end of the park. From here, you can take a 4.5 km self-guided stroll along the Friends Track to learn all about the local vegetation; detour down the side track to Kwat Kwat Lookout, where there’s a stupendous view of the Victorian Alps. The best vantage point, however, is afforded by Mt Glenrowan – courtesy of a 9 km return walk along Ridge Track from Taminick Gap. The campground is off Booth Rd, accessed from Gerrett Rd which branches off Wangaratta Rd.

There are a number of pleasant bushwalks that start from this campground, and mobs of eastern grey kangaroos frequent the forest and grassy clearings nearby.
