Horseshoe Bend camping area (bush camping)
Campsite
Near the township of Merbein, 10 km north-west of Mildura, is Horseshoe Bend, also referred to as Merbein Common. There are a number of bush camping sites along this stretch of the Murray River that will give you a sense of distance from town life while still being close enough to enjoy it. All of the sites are accessed via signposted Old Wentworth Rd (near the local racecourse and winery), which is accessed off River Ave in Merbein.
