This campsite is located in Murray-Sunset National Park
Wedged up in the far north-western corner of Victoria, this is a gloriously isolated, undisturbed region of sand dunes, salt lakes and wide-open mallee country. At 677 000 ha it is one of the state’s biggest protected areas, and offers outback tracks suitable for a 4WD and bushwalking around the spectacular Pink Lakes. Access is off the Sturt Hwy and Millewa Rd from the north, the Calder Hwy in the east, and the Mallee Hwy in the south. A 4WD is needed for most of the park’s tracks.
