Emmerts Bend camping area (bush camping)
Emmerts Bend is the first of the dispersed bush-camping areas you’ll encounter in Murray–Kulkyne Park if you drive south down the River Track from nearby Colignan. Bring your own water, and some wood if you want to build a fire.
Who to contact: Parks Victoria 13 1963
This campsite is located in Murray–Kulkyne Park
The 2 sections of Murray–Kulkyne Park are squeezed between the Murray River to the east and the flood plains of Hattah–Kulkyne National Park to the west. It comprises some great riverfront land, with the added advantage that, unlike the neighbouring national park, dogs on leads and generators are permitted here. All camping sites are accessed from the River Track, which heads south from Colignan and north from the Hattah–Robinvale Rd; check road conditions if towing a caravan.
