■ The evening sound and light show (extra cost) in an open-topped car. Each building you pass lights up and tells its story.
The gigantic ‘Queen of the Murray’, the paddlesteamer Gem, was not always as big as she is now. In 1882, just six years after she was built, she was sawn in half, by hand, and bullocks were used to drag the two halves apart so that an extra section could be added in the middle!
■ Tickets are valid for two days and you can buy combination packages that include various extra options.
