Walpeup Lake camping area
Campsite
When Walpeup Lake has high enough levels of water, it’s a peaceful swimming and canoeing spot. It’s located 14 km south-east of the town of Walpeup on the Mallee Hwy. Fringing the northern side of the lake is the extensive Timberoo Flora and Pine Log Tank Reserve. The lake is signposted off Hopetoun–Walpeup Rd. Bring in firewood and drinking water.
