You don’t have to be a budding chef to stay at this Mornington Peninsula retreat; nor do you have to book into one of their gourmet cooking classes – but indeed cooking packages are available. Accommodation is in three spacious and luxurious units on an upper level with terrific views from private balconies, with a smaller comfortable unit downstairs, close to Cafe George. Breakfast is the full deal, from hot semolina porridge and bircher muesli to thick baked pancakes and French omelettes.
