Baw Baw Plateau camping area (walk-in camping)
The long-distance Australian Alps Walking Track that traverses the grand landscape between Walhalla and the ACT passes through the far north of the national park. Using this means of access, you can go bush camping in this picturesque area. Talk to the ranger if you’re interested in camping here. A 2-night limit will likely apply to your stay.

The mountainous, sub-alpine environment of Baw Baw National Park offers stunning views, invigorating bushwalking and excellent cross-country skiing. Wildflowers delight visitors in summer, while in winter it’s the snowy woodlands that create some chilly magic. The park is near Rawson, about 40 km north from Moe. Access roads branch off the Thomson Valley Rd north of Erica.
