Seninis camping area
This well-shaded campground, the only one in the park, is set on the grassy banks of Tyers River. Access is from Seninis Track, which runs off the Moe–Erica Rd and leads through an area noted for a wildflower display that includes 16 species of orchid. Koalas can be spotted snoozing in tree branches here, and you can also see echidnas, bandicoots, swamp wallabies and gliders – although you’ll need to have a good torch and a night-time stroll for a chance to spot most of these.

This campsite is located in Moondarra State Park
Crowding the northern edge of the Latrobe Valley, this native forest protects significant plots of flora and the diverse fauna that shelter within it. You can explore the park at your leisure on scenic drives and bushwalks, and there are also plenty of opportunities for picnicking and mountain-biking. The park is 13 km north of Moe; the Moe–Erica Rd passes directly through the park.
