Former professional fisherman Michael Hobson has set up this terrific new waterfront restaurant right on the wharf, with an adjacent fish and chippery and fresh fish sales. Guests can relax inside on comfy cushions while contemplating the menu that is heavy with local seafood, or dine outside overlooking the water while local children try their luck with fishing rods. Start with a tapas platter to share – calamari, salmon or maybe chicken liver pâté – before ordering crisp-battered King George whiting with chips or snapper fillet with lemon. A small wine list has some good local labels.
