Housed in an old Californian-style bungalow, this welcoming restaurant seats diners in three intimate dining rooms. Talented chef and co-owner Lewis Prince offers a contemporary à la carte menu as well as an eight-course tasting menu or vegetarian degustation menu, available with matching wines. Using local produce, he delights with flavoursome dishes such as tempura zucchini flowers filled with Tarago River goat’s cheese, or wagyu ox-cheek ragout cooked slow and low, with sticky tamarind glaze, dukkah cucumber salad and smoked yoghurt. Desserts don’t disappoint either: try the kaffir-lime panna cotta with blood-orange sorbet and candied pistachios.
