Gaffneys Creek camping reserve
Campsite
This reserve is 37 km south of Jamieson, with the entry point along the Mansfield-Woods Point Rd. There’s fishing in the river and picnic tables for dining. The nearby Lauraville settlement site is where gold was first discovered in the region in 1859. Historic dwellings and other remnants of this mining-era town pepper the local hills.
