White Womans Waterhole picnic and camping area
Campsite
This is a large, shady area and the only place in the forest where you can camp. Several walks radiate out from this site: the White Womans Walk highlights the diverse vegetation, while the Old Railway Walk retraces what was once part of the Great Southern Railway. According to local legend, the waterhole got its name from the single survivor of a shipwreck off Ninety Mile Beach, who was subsequently cared for by local Aborigines. Access to the camping area is signposted off Napier Rd (Won Wron Rd), reached via Carrajung Rd, which is south from Woodside.
