Snap your fingers and transport this beachside eatery complete with courtyard, terracotta tiles and terrific Italian food to Italy, and it would be absolutely right at home – somewhere around the Ligurian coastline from where owner Massimiliano hails. He imports traditional ingredients such as prosciutto, artisanal pasta, taleggio and other regional cheeses to ensure his antipasto, pizza and pasta dishes are authentic. Try his laganelle all limone (fine lemon-flavoured noodles served with local seafood), trofie al pesto (small, twisted pasta typically from Liguria, served with pesto) or half-moon-shaped mezzalune (filled with spinach and ricotta and served with creamy walnut sauce). As you’d expect, Italian wines dot the interesting wine list.
