Elliminook Heritage B&B
This charming B&B in an 1865 National Trust–classified homestead is set in attractively landscaped gardens. Originally built out of handmade bricks for a local pioneer farmer, it shelters at the end of a sweeping driveway, with a giant bunya pine on the front lawn. The homestead has been lovingly restored, with hosts Jill and Peter Falkiner attending to every detail. There are three B&B ensuite rooms and two queen-size bedrooms in a new self-contained wing. All guest rooms are furnished with period pieces, while being designed for comfort. Explore the manicured gardens and enjoy an evening drink in the courtyard with its riot of iceberg roses. There is also a grass tennis court and a croquet lawn with authentic pavilion. Hearty breakfasts can be enjoyed on the verandah.
