Sunnybrae Restaurant and Cooking School
Part cooking school and part restaurant, Sunnybrae is one of regional Victoria’s hidden gems. It is overseen by renowned chef George Biron, a staunch advocate of the philosophy of slow food. The regionally sourced lunches he creates in this farmhouse surrounded by gardens are set-priced and multi-coursed, and reveal the wonder of eating things that have been pulled from the ground or plucked from the bush a short time before. Excellent local snapper might rest on a bed of samphire greens or homemade cheese on wilted cucumber. Sunnybrae is convivial, homely and very special.
