Lake Monibeong camping area
Campsite
With flat, grassy ground and basic facilities, this camping area is 7 km along Lake Monibeong Rd, signposted 16 km south-east of Nelson on the road to Portland. Go swimming or sailboarding in the lake or tackle the 1 km walk to the ocean beach at Discovery Bay. The site is on the Great South West Walk, 13 km from White Sands Camp.
