Qdos is situated among the trees and wildlife of Great Otway National Park at the back of Lorne. You can either drive the kilometre up the hill or, if you’re feeling energetic, walk. Enjoy a restorative drink at the bar while appreciating the international artworks in the gallery or cosy up in the lounge by the fire while considering the interesting menu. With experience in Michelin-star restaurants in Europe, the chefs here offer an exciting range of dishes, beginning with breakfasts of sautéed wild mushrooms with thyme and ricotta cheese, or blanched muesli, poached eggs and rhubarb with homemade yoghurt. In the evening, try the duck tart with parmesan pastry followed by marsala-baked figs. They bake their own breads, churn homemade ice-cream and harvest fresh produce from a kitchen garden.
