This campsite is located in Mount Eccles National Park

Mt Eccles, also known as Budj Bim and situated 10 km west of Macarthur, is a dream destination for budding vulcanologists. Ancient eruptions resulted in lava flows and caves that visitors can explore via a network of invigorating walking tracks. A trio of craters now holds the waters of Lake Surprise, which have bubbled up from underground springs.
