This stylish shopfront restaurant offers pavement dining with lovely beach views and a casual but refined style of dining. For those who can’t make up their mind what to have from the contemporary Australian menu, there is a six-course degustation menu. Recommended entrées are pan-seared Atlantic scallops or rabbit ravioli. Main courses might be wild barramundi fillet, crumbed Otway free-range pork rib-eye with Waldorf salad, or terrific local eye fillet with baby root vegetables. Sweet-tooths are well catered for with yoghurt panna cotta with mixed berries and mint, triple chocolate tart with rocky road ice-cream, and an excellent apple tarte tartin. The wine list is outstanding.
