Campsite
John Batman, Melbourne’s founder, set up camp at Indented Head in the 1830s. Accessed from The Esplanade, Anderson Reserve snakes along the edge of Port Phillip Bay, its campsites spread out rather than being clustered together in the one spot. Note: the reserve is open mid-Dec–mid-Mar.
