The campsites at Boar Gully need to be booked in advance. Boar Gully is at one end of the 3-day Burchell Trail that traverses the park; the other is at the Steiglitz Courthouse. While navigating this track, bushwalkers can camp overnight at the Old Mill and Little River campsites. From the Ballan–Geelong Rd, turn east on Brisbane Ranges Rd, then south on Reids Rd.

This campsite is located in Brisbane Ranges National Park

The Brisbane Ranges are easily accessible from Melbourne, which lies only 80 km to the east. Swamp wallabies and eastern grey kangaroos roam the bush here, while the flora includes a type of grevillea that is unique to the region. Bushwalkers love this park for its range of walks, from the 1 hr Anakie Gorge Walk to the 3-day Burchell Trail. Access is off the Ballan–Geelong Rd.
