Sitting out over the water of Corio Bay, this enormously popular seafood restaurant has been pleasing locals since 1971. Embracing a simple, modern bistro style, the ever-changing menu has an emphasis on local seafood. Start with the local Queenscliff calamari with chorizo, rocket and garlic or the terrific seafood chowder made with fresh Port Arlington mussels and scallops. For main course, consider the sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna with red papaya salsa, or the enormously popular seafood selection for two with a variety of fresh and cooked seafood – and not a deep-fried prawn in sight. There is also a good variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, and since all food is prepared to order, all dietary requirements can be catered for.
