Port Pier Cafe
Located in an old fish co-op, this popular Spanish restaurant is about as close to the water as you can get. For breakfast, locals come for egg-based dishes like Spanish omelette or eggs Flamenco – baked with artichoke and chorizo. If you’re feeling ravenous, go for the Port Pier hunger breaker – breakfast with the lot and a bit more. The same menu is available for lunch and dinner, with at least two dozen tapas dishes, several paellas – seafood, mixed and vegetarian – lots of salads, steaks with a choice of sauces and the very popular seafood feast for two. There is also a good selection of Spanish, local and not-so-local wines.
