This ‘small hotel by the sea’ is Queenscliff’s oldest operating guesthouse – dating from 1860. However, extensive renovations have recently brought it right up to date, with all mod cons and then some. All eight queen-size rooms and the one apartment have ensuites, most with corner spa baths, heating, ceiling fans and broadband wireless internet access. Decor is fresh and modern throughout, and some rooms have private balconies; all guests can enjoy the wide communal second-floor balcony. The on-site restaurant is one of the best in the region, with outdoor dining areas in summer.
