Healesville Sanctuary

Australia is famous for its unique animals, and they are all on show at Healesville Sanctuary. The 30-hectare reserve accommodates an extensive range of native birds and animals, from common kangaroos to rare creatures such as the Tasmanian devil. At the Healesville Sanctuary, the Australian Wildlife Health Centre provides a sneak peek into the sanctuary’s animal hospital, and there are Meet the Keeper talks scheduled throughout the day with a keeper taking visitors inside some of the enclosures. Allow at least half a day to fully explore this sanctuary, enjoyable for all ages.
