This campsite is located in Marysville State Forest

Marysville State Forest, which lies to the north-east of Marysville and contains numerous walking tracks and the superb Steavenson Falls, was one of the worst-affected areas on Black Saturday in early 2009. Fortunately, wet winters in subsequent years have meant that the rate of forest regeneration has been phenomenal, and the DSE has completed works to facilities at picnic areas and campsites. Walking tracks have been improved too - try to pick up the DSE brochure detailing walks in the forest.
