Dandenong Ranges & Knox Visitor Information Centre
The Dandenong Ranges are characterised by a landscape of towering mountain ash forests, lush fern gullies, waterfalls and English gardens. Sherbrooke Forest is a wonderful place for a walk or a picnic. Olinda and nearby Sassafras are known for their many galleries, antique stores and cafes, particularly the numerous tearooms serving traditional Devonshire teas. Olinda is also home to the National Rhododendron Garden, while Silvan holds the annual Tulip Festival. Puffing Billy is also in the area.
