This camping area is spacious and wheelchair-accessible and, if the weather is wet, you can take shelter in a large hall equipped with electric BBQs. For a fine view over the reservoir, take the steep 2 km track to the Doctor Creek Lookout, but note that walking tracks are off limits to dogs. You can also inspect a restored waterwheel. Advance bookings are essential.

This campsite is located in Upper Yarra Reservoir Park

Centred on one of Melbourne’s largest water storages, this park allows the uppermost access to the Yarra River. Although no swimming is permitted here, you can do some walks up to local viewpoints, and the facilities will ensure a very comfortable stay. The park is 24 km east of Warburton, off the Woods Point–Warburton Rd.
