Hiking and walking
With 48 campsites along the way, the 963‑kilometre Bibbulmun Track stretches from Kalamunda on the outskirts of Perth to Albany on the south coast, passing some of the state’s best scenery. There are coastal sections over cliffs, beaches and heathland, and inland sections through valleys and forests. Wandoo trees give way to stands of jarrah, marri, karri and red tingle, and walkers can enjoy flourishing wildflowers in spring. You can attempt the entire trek or pick up smaller sections. For bike riders, there is the neighbouring Munda Biddi Trail.
