This campsite is located in Bibbulmun Track – Northern Section

The Bibbulmun Track traverses some of the south-west’s most scenic and beautiful areas for some 963 km, from Kalamunda on the outskirts of Perth all the way to the southern coast at Albany. The northern section begins at Kalamunda Trackhead, with a total of 27 campsites dotted along the track to Donnelly River Village, which is a private camping area 31 km south-east of Nannup. The campsites have a timber shelter sleeping no more than 17 people, as well as a bush toilet, rainwater tank and picnic table. Tents can be erected at the campsites, but no camping is allowed in water catchment areas between Kalamunda and Collie, and south of the Blackwood River. With numerous vehicle access points along the way, the track can be tackled in sections; it would take 6–8 weeks to walk the entire track in one go. Water may not always be reliable so carry extra, and it’s preferable to bring a gas/fuel stove. Fire restrictions are in place Oct–May. Walkers need to be self-sufficient and well-prepared, equipped with track maps and guides.
