This Tudor-style pub (or ‘brewery restaurant’, as it calls itself) is located close to the Swan Brewery and specialises in European-style beers produced by Czech-born brewmaster Jan Bruckner. Brewhouse Pilsener is a wellbalanced Bohemianstyle beer, reflecting the brewer’s heritage, while a dark lager (basically, a swartzbier), a Bavarian-style wheat beer and a low-alcohol Light complete the range. A twin outlet in the suburb of Bedfordale has since closed.
