Overlooking vineyards and the odd farm animal, and with the Darling Ranges as a backdrop, the Black Swan Winery & Restaurant is the epitome of alfresco rustic dining. Where possible the ingredients are grown on-site or sourced locally, except for the wagyu beef and the Kurobuta pork which is flown in from the eastern states. To begin, a delicate soufflé or house-smoked chicken, followed by house-made pasta or duck breast à l’orange. The winery makes a cheeky drop or two to compliment your meal, and other outstanding wines are also available. An added bonus is that it’s open daily, which is refreshing in this neck of the woods.
