The Deck

Situated between Esperance and Albany in a region renowned as the gateway for the Fitzgerald River National Park, within the world-renowned Fitzgerald Biosphere, The Deck is a tourist drop-in centre for information, national park passes, the Southern Ocean and Discovery Centre and a giftshop. The cafe not only serves up light food and fruit smoothies but has also become renowned for its gourmet ice-creams and sorbets. The Deck building was originally the town’s post office and today retains much of its charm.
