There are caravan facilities and other accommodation options at this iconic roadhouse on the Eyre Hwy at Balladonia, 191 km east of Norseman. Claypans typical of the region can be photographed, along with old stone walls built by pioneer farmers. Rocky outcrops and granite sheets collectively called Newmans Rocks, 50 km west of Balladonia, form a natural water catchment that supports a large array of wildlife including donkeys, emus and kangaroos. Bring your own drinking water.
