If you have a 4WD, take a detour to experience the pristine beauty of Nuytsland Nature Reserve. The Eyre Bird Observatory is 35 km from the highway, via a turn-off 17 km east of Cocklebiddy, housed in the wonderful old Eyre Telegraph Station.
