Forrest camping area
Campsite
A reuelling location for aircraft, Forrest is 126 km north of the Eyre Hwy on the Transcontinental Railway Access Rd, via the 4WD Forrest–Mundrabilla Rd. Camping is permitted near the old weather station that has been set up to provide facilities for intrepid 4WD travellers through the area. Note that the Transcontinental Railway Access Rd is a private road from Rawlinna east to Tarcoola in SA. Forrest–Mundrabilla Rd leaves the Eyre Hwy 34 km west of Mundrabilla.
