On the Great Central Rd, 305 km north-east of Laverton and 255 km south-west of Warburton, Tjukayirla Roadhouse caravan park provides travellers through this spectacularly desolate country with a good range of facilities within the roadhouse complex. Visitors will find shady trees to camp under and a swimming pool to relax in while enjoying a glorious desert sunset. Other accommodation is available, and you need to bring your own firewood.

This campsite is located in Great Central Road

Running east from Laverton to Yulara in the NT, the Great Central Road is a classic red centre route surrounded by the spinifex and red sand of the central Australian desert. A 4WD is recommended, and transit permits are required to travel through the Aboriginal land along its route.
