Jaurdi Station camping area is 149 km north-east of Southern Cross via the Great Eastern Hwy, Mt Walton (Heath) and Ryans roads. Visitors have the use of a good range of facilities at the old homestead of a pastoral lease now managed by DEC. Explore the old shearing shed and farm machinery to gain an appreciation of the station’s pastoral history, and discover the rare flora and fauna of this granite country. Bring firewood and water, and choose from other accommodation available.
