This Italian restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best eateries in town. ‘Saltimbocca’ means ‘jumps in the mouth’ and the menu doesn’t disappoint. Naturally, veal saltimbocca is the signature dish, cooked traditionally, as is most of the menu. Situated in a historic building, the restaurant retains its charm with polished floorboards, high pressed-tin ceilings, crisp white tablecloths and bistro-style wooden chairs. The wine list features many excellent Australian drops and there is also a takeaway menu.
