In the middle of nowhere, well actually the Nullarbor Plain, Norseman is a town known for its enormous reserves of gold. And where there are miners, you can be sure to find a decent pub serving that all-time Australian favourite, cold beer and hearty counter meals. The Newman Hotel remains in the original colonial style it was built in at the turn of the last century.
