This campsite is located in Rowles Lagoon Conservation Park

If waterskiing in the desert appeals to you, then Rowles Lagoon is the place to go. A semipermanent set of lakes measuring 2 km across, it's no wonder this area is popular with watersports enthusiasts. In fact, it is the only Goldfields lake system with a gazetted waterski and jetski area. Nature lovers and birdwatchers will enjoy the area too, as the lakes are a conservation island within an arid zone. They provide habitat for more species of waterbirds than any other arid zone wetland south of the Kimberley.
