Wanjarri Shearing Shed camping area is 16 km north-east of the Goldfields Hwy; the turn-off is 58 km north of Leinster. Camping around the trees gives visitors the use of the shearing-shed facilities while they explore the remnants of this once-thriving pastoral venture. Bring your own water.

This campsite is located in Wanjarri Nature Reserve

Once a sheep station, Wanjarri Nature Reserve now protects a vast range of wildlife, including kangaroos, emus and wedge-tailed eagles. Camp near the old Wanjarri shearing shed and avail yourself of its facilities while exploring the old pastoral lease, and experience outback station life as it was once lived. The reserve is 74 km north of Leinster.
