This campsite is located in Bibbulmun Track – Southern Section

The southern section of the scenic Bibbulmun Track begins at Donnelly River Village, a private camping area 31 km south-east of Nannup. A total of 23 camping areas lie between Donnelly River and the trackhead at Albany; no fires are allowed at campsites from Mt Chance to Albany, so you’ll need to carry in a gas/fuel stove to these areas. The campsites have a timber shelter sleeping no more than 17 people, as well as a bush toilet, rainwater tank and picnic table. Tents can be erected at the camping areas, but no camping is allowed in water catchment areas. With numerous vehicle access points along the way, the track can be tackled in sections; it would take 6–8 weeks to walk the entire track in one go. Water may not always be reliable so carry extra, and it’s preferable to bring a gas/fuel stove. Fire restrictions are in place Oct–May. Walkers need to be self-sufficient and well-prepared, equipped with track maps and guides.
